Regional callout
Plovdiv: +42.5%
Varna: +47.9%
78.0% of flow in 4 markets

The regional story of Q2 2026 is more interesting than the headline number. Yes, Sofia remains the largest market, but this time it is not setting the pace.

The capital stayed effectively flat (-1.0%) on a high base, while Plovdiv accelerated 42.5%, Varna 47.9%, and Stara Zagora 27.2%. That is a clear signal that growth is being reallocated geographically.

Concentration is also intensifying. Sofia, Plovdiv, Burgas and Varna absorbed 78.0% of started flow in Q2 versus 69.4% in the first quarter. For managers, investors and suppliers, that is not just a statistic but a territorial priority question.

When everyone watches the capital, the best opportunities often emerge in the cities that are accelerating faster yet remain outside the mainstream conversation. That is why the regional atlas in the full report matters.

The public news story shows where movement exists. The full Q2 analysis shows which regions deserve a place in your sales, investment or location-expansion plan over the next 6 to 12 months.

"Regional growth is not background noise. It is a signal of where capital is already searching for the next better return."
